# How Wrapmate Works Wrapmate manages the entire vehicle wrap project end-to-end: design, production, installation, and warranty. From start to installed, most projects complete in 15 days or less. ## The 15-day process ### Day 1 — Start Online Jump into Wrapmate's online platform and tell us about the project. Customers can either create a concept design using the AI-powered tool, or request a quote to start with a human designer. - Choose vehicle type (car, van, truck, trailer, fleet) - Get AI-generated wrap concepts in minutes, or - Request a quote and Wrapmate's team reaches out ### Day 2 — Share Your Vision After a $199 refundable project deposit (which goes toward the total cost), the customer shares brand assets and direction with the design team — logos, colors, style references — all digitally through WrapOS, Wrapmate's customer portal. ### Days 3–5 — Review, Refine, Perfect The design team produces a production-ready concept on a digital mockup of the customer's exact vehicle. The customer can spin it around, leave feedback in WrapOS, and request revisions. The design deposit includes the initial concept and three rounds of revisions; additional revisions are available for $150. Most designs are delivered in under 48 business hours. ### Day 6 — Sign Off & Get Rolling The customer approves the design with one click and pays 50% of the total. All-inclusive, transparent pricing — no hidden fees. Monthly financing is available as low as $75/month for qualified buyers. ### Day 8 — Print & Ship The approved design goes into production using premium 3M vinyl. Every panel is precision-cut for the exact vehicle make and model. ### Days 13–15 — Install The wrap ships to a certified Wrapmate Pro near the customer. Installation typically completes in 24–72 hours. The customer drops off the vehicle and picks up the finished wrap. Final 50% is due upon completion. ## What to expect on installation day - Customer receives a drop-off email with appointment details and vehicle washing instructions - Vehicle should arrive washed (do NOT apply wax in advance — it interferes with adhesion) - Wrapmate completes the wrap and reviews final photos - Customer is contacted when ready for pickup; card on file is charged for the final total - Vehicle can be driven immediately upon completion - For the first 24–48 hours, do not wash the vehicle. Inspect for any lifting and report it; Wrapmate will schedule a touch-up ## Materials and production - 325,000+ sq ft production facility - 100% premium 3M vinyl materials - Every printed panel is sealed with 3M Scotchcal 8518 overlaminate (UV, scratch, fuel-vapor resistant) - 5-step production: wide-format digital printing → protective lamination → precision contour cutting → quality inspection → installer-ready kit packaging - Every project is quality-inspected and serialized ## Materials specifications - **3M IJ180Cv3** — gold-standard cast wrap film. 2-mil construction, Controltac repositionable adhesive, Comply v3 air-release.
